Founded in 1987, the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) promotes excellence in the field of foreign credential evaluation. NACES is an association committed to formulating and maintaining ethical standards in the field of foreign educational evaluation. NACES comprises private and independent foreign credential evaluation services whose membership in NACES demonstrates a high level of expertise in the evaluation of foreign educational credentials. NACES members are committed to maintaining continued professional involvement in organizations such as NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
Since there is no government agency in the U.S. that monitors the establishment of foreign credential evaluation services, choosing a NACES member to evaluate your institution’s international students’ credentials gives the user of the evaluation report the assurance that the evaluation is reliable and that it has been issued by a credential evaluation service with a record of professionalism and integrity in the field of international education. Stringent membership requirements further ensure that NACES members are dedicated to ethical standards and actively contribute to professionalism in the field.
There is no substitute for quality and integrity. For more information about NACES and its members, please visit www.naces.org.
