Founded in 1994 in New York City, the Ameson Education and Cultural Exchange Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is committed to the development of new educational programs and platforms, and the organization of educational and cultural exchanges around the world. Its honorary Chairman is Dr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the former Secretary General of the United Nations. The Foundation is guided by a Board of Advisors comprised of world-leading educational experts and dignitaries, and maintains Advisory Committees for Academics, K-12 education and College Admissions.
Ameson is currently headquartered in Washington, DC, in the Ronald Reagan Building, at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, just blocks from the White House. In China, Ameson maintains operations centers in Beijing and Shanghai, and a research center in Nanjing. Our work centers around three main areas: connecting the global education community, improving the quality of education at all levels through multiple programs, and forging new paths in international education.
